As the link notes, you want to configure the VM for an IDE controller and
use DANIS506 only.
While AHCI and NVME are faster on real hardware, this is not the case in a
VM.

Probably not in a VM. You need to test this on your setup.

You probably should to REM out the
BASEDEV=OS2AHCI.ADD
since it's not getting loaded.
