Given what we know about clamscan's memory usage and your mailstores, I
probably would use the --file-list option for all runs. With 4OS2 and
some easily accessible utilities, this is easy. To check all files
changed in the last 5 days, it's
dir /[d-5,%_DATE] /a:-d /f /s maildir... >5days.lst
clamscan ... --file-lst=5days.lst
Hi,
is there a way to call 4os2 from a batch?
anyway if i try to run
dir /[d-5,%_DATE] /a:-d /f /s . >5days.lst
it do not work, i'm new with 4os2
(anyway if it can't be called by an external batch,
i'm going to find another way)

I've modified the script "killold.cmd" By Denis Tonn (IBM) with success.
I even don't find it anymore on hobbes archive.
It comes as "free", but in the zip package (dated 1996) there is no
mention to GPL or such.
So i don't know if i can share it.

I've to thanks again Steven for the suggestion.
I used the modified by me rexx script scanning only for the emails
of the last 3 weeks (about 22 days).
This is the **first time** in years that i saw clamscan to complete it's work.
It scanned all mail domains without any issue,
no system hangs, no crashes, no apache-ssl closing and
not restarting with clamscan in memory.
All in less than 2 hours.
Very very very good.
Much thanks.
