Steven said: try marking named.exe as MPUNSAFE So, assuming you are in the directory with named.exe and markexe.exe is in %PATH%: markexe MPUNSAFE named.exe That's how you "mark" "named.exe" as "MPUNSAFE" If you run: markexe /? you'll find out lots of neat things it can do. Verify that your marking is in effect with: markexe DISPLAY named.exe which should (among other things) list MPUNSAFE. You've been doing this stuff a while, so I'm surprised this was not more obvious to you. BTW, if you don't have the toolkit installed for some reason (Arca Noae does not distribute the toolkit with ArcaOS, as it is not part of our licensing agreement with IBM), you may install the toolkit from RPM (yum install os2tk45 or use ANPM). Note that the Netlabs RPM distribution does not install the toolkit to the "expected" location, but the binaries should be locatable.
