Hi all,

i'd need to upgrade openSSL, but..

if i write yum update openssl i get an error..
Very strange i use yum often, it always works on that VM..

It also say that there are uncomplete transaction and to run
yum-complete-transaction that of course do not work..

Anyway if i try to upgrade a package, i get a river of errors:
(i'm sorry if it show badly, but thunderbird do stuff like this..)

I tought, ok, let's update yum, so yum update yum...

No, you can't, you need to upgrade RPM to version 4.15.17..

But if i try to upgrade RPM i get the same error.


Not to say that i tried also ANPM, but it was old, so i tried to install 1.1.2
and it need a new Warpin, everywhere links point to hobbes.nmsu.edu that do not
exist anymore, the Warpin page at Netlabs point to hobbes.nmsu.edu, so i go to
hobbes archive, that has banned me (why? i rarely download stuff from that website),
but finally i was able to download it (luckily) from eCSoft/2 that has a local copy.

I install Warpin 1.0.26, like in the past **the UI complete freeze if run via VNC**
so that i had to power off the VM (AOS 503) and install it from the Virtual box'host server.

After i update ANPM to 1.1.2 and it complain that it need at least warpin 0.9.14..
Doh, i've installed 1.0.26, so i do a reboot.
ANPM still complain, i start manually Warpin, i dunno what happened but after
ANPM start.

So i try to upgrade RPM or YUM from ANPM, but it gives the same errors.
If i try to reinstall the same version of YUM i get errors too.

I'm in a deadly loop. :D

I ask someone, if could help me in this situation, thanks.
