If so, how often are you running fstrim on those SSD's after

hi,

yes and no, since this server uses Seagate Firecuda 1TB SSHD :)

for this server i bkup applications, not the entire FS
since it's not jet virtualized

in the next years if this market will survive i'm going to virtualize it
like i've done with the other one using Vbox
