I wonder if https://github.com/bitwiseworks/libcx/issues/85 could help.

This fix should be libcx 0.6.9 according to the changelog - but this 
doesn't seem to be updated by rpm - my libcx is still March 2020.

looks like there's a 0.7.0 zip at
