No one ever said you needed to install ArcaOS to use the daytime.exe
binary that ships with ArcaOS. Daytime is GPL so you are free to use the
binaries as you wish.

Sure. Continue to use the version you have and ignore the errors. :-)
FWIW, my preferred clock manager is still os2_ntpd.
