Hi all,

i'm still using bind 9.11.28 on both DNS

if i upgrade to 9.11.36
or 9.11.37

cpu usage go to 100% on named process, that becomes "unkillable zombi"
and can't be killed/closed

any suggestin any help?

I'll attempt to lookat 9.16 or 9.18 at some point, but the 9.11 patches don't apply very cleanly.

Our March maintenance releases of BIND are available and can be downloaded
from the ISC software download page,

This will be the last monthly release for BIND 9.11 branch.

In addition to bug fixes and feature improvements, these releases also
contain fixes for several security vulnerabilities, CVE-2021-25220,
CVE-2022-0396, CVE-2022-0635 and CVE-2022-0667, about which more
information is provided in these Security Advisories:

A summary of significant changes in the new releases can be found in their
release notes:

There is at present no experimental development branch.
