That would be a likely suspect without more information.

It would be interesting to capture a system dump when then hang occurs.
It may not be possible, but it will not hurt to try.

hi,

with VAL at 3072 the server seems stable, but clamscan allways freeze the server

i confirm that it do not happen if i run clamscan after a reboot
(the server do 2 reboots per week)

i suspect there is something that the more is the uptime most the system runs out of resources

maybe hybrid ircd or eggdrop that are really really old portings
