As I might have already mentioned, bind issues a select() call with no
timeout. I suspect this is the reason you cannot kill bind when it hangs.
I got around to looking at this this morning.@Steven I'm assuming the select call at lib\isc\unix\socket.c is the one you had in mind to add the timeout to?
