This build load a lot the CPU:

    0:01:01,03 96.9% 0.5  3732 ..................... D:\BIND\SBIN\NAMED.EXE

is this normal?

I had to fall back, since the webmail becomes allmost unusable and also weasel slow down.

As I might have already mentioned, bind issues a select() call with no
timeout.  I suspect this is the reason you cannot kill bind when it hangs.

I got around to looking at this this morning.@Steven I'm assuming the select call at lib\isc\unix\socket.c  is the one you had in mind to add the timeout to?
