FWIW, I've been doing a bit of reading on the relationship between MSS and MTU because ijfw has an MSS-Adjust setting that I was not previously aware of. Lars did a lot of work to optimize the fxwrap.sys driver performance. You might want to discuss your speed issues with him. He might have some ideas on how to troubleshoot is issue.
