Hi Massimo,

i've created a ticket:

https://github.com/bitwiseworks/InJoy/issues/78

update

if i copy and paste 100% of the content of the include rule file
"spam.cnf" in firerule.cnf, i don't get the issue

now i've a huge firerule file..
firerule.cnf 323.988

it's unreadable :-)
but it works

That's odd.  It implies some sort of problem parsing the #include
statement, but I can't see anything obvious.

If you want anyone to be able to help you with this, you are probably
going to have to provide them a copy of your ruleset.

Refresh my memory a bit.  IIRC, you have been using #include to import
rules for a long time and it's only relatively recently when the .cnf
files got a bit larger that the failures began?  True?

hi,

no, i always had issues (more or less) with include rule files, on different installations, bare metal and VM vbox

But when server1 mobo died i went to the eCS2.2b vbox VM and here
includes do not work anymore even if you create an include with just *1* rule
i've explained this in the thread

About me Injoy FW code on includes have issues on MP setups.

Include files are not even not documented if i recall well..
And the latest build 4.2.3 has some update on the include code, it's in the changelog.
Anyway the same issue is also on the 4.2.2 build.

The same include file rules (2 of them) on MTA2 that have a very low load
works perfectly, this is also explained in the thread.

i don't know, i've to check this
i edit them directly with notepad on my W10 laptop via Core FTP,
but, i repeat, the same file works on the other server
that's also a Vbox VM
