I totally disagree with this statement.
Here's a sample from on of my stunnel logs
2020-03-16 12.11.17 Mar 16 12:11:17 stunnel: LOG5[0]: Service [vnc]
accepted connection from 127.0.0.1:55296 2020-03-16 12.11.17 Mar 16
12:11:17 stunnel: LOG5[0]: s_connect: connected 64.60.60.121:15900
2020-03-16 12.11.17 Mar 16 12:11:17 stunnel: LOG5[0]: Service [vnc]
connected remote server from 192.168.10.2:55297 2020-03-16 12.12.28 Mar 16
12:12:28 stunnel: LOG5[0]: Connection closed: 1295 byte(s) sent to TLS,
1639318 byte(s) sent to socket
I see no sensitive data.
I recommend you reconsider you conclusions. Otherwise, I will stop work
on the ticket and we can delete the ticket from Paul's mantis if you wish.
I am not going to take responsibility for data that someone incorrectly
believes is sensitive personnally identifable data while doing pro bono
work.
The choice is yours.
