This is not the point. If you read the wike page, you will find that it,
like the GDPR makes not specific statement that IP addresses are PII.

Fear is the mind killer. If I lived in fear, I would not be offering the
little knowledge I have on this forum without having everyone sign waivers
to ensure that that I have no liability if something I suggest does not
work out just right.
