Hi Dan,
here i'm using Virtual box on Windows server 2022.
I use Handy backup for live bkups of the VMs.
(of course i also bkup the applications and contents eg. apache etc. with rsync)
Vmware, now Broadcom, has endend the free hypervisor..
So i guess there are no more options for us but Virtual box.
I've tried a lot eCS 2.1, 2.2b and AOS under MS Hyper-V (that i like a lot), but
since it don't "emulate" ring2 eCS or AOS hang at early boot.
I've not tried other hypervisors (eg. proxmox, citrix etc.)
