Lewis, i'm sorry, is there any hope that AOS will get a new stack IP?
Here internet connections like 1, 2.5 and 10Gigabit are arriving.
I doubt that will be compliant with those datarates.
My new Asus X570 motherboard has a Realtek 2.5 Gbit Ethernet controller. It works very well, with the current Multimac MMRE driver. I can't tell if it actually runs at that speed, because the rest of my network is 1 Gbit.
I've a number of strange issues with datarates and expecially with downloads.
In a number of years i've tried a lot playing with inetcfg.ini.
I got some improvements, but anyway i'm still not satisfied even with
quite old connections from 30 to 100Megabit.
I don't know what will happens with 1, 2.5 or 10Gigabit, this
at customers' places.
Instead here in my small datacenter these are good enough,
i still have a 100Megabit FTTC, but even with a 1Gigabit that
will arrive in the next months they are sufficient for me.
