Hi all,

in the past a number of ppl and /2 sites suggested theese settings:

DEVICE=C:\MPTN\PROTOCOL\SOCKETSK.SYS /GDT:256 /MEM:4096
DEVICE=C:\MPTN\PROTOCOL\AFOS2.SYS
DEVICE=C:\MPTN\PROTOCOL\AFINETK.SYS
RUN=C:\MPTN\BIN\CNTRL.EXE /SM 1024 /LM 720

e.g. nowadays i've seen that some vendor is not using it and have the default configuration (without parameters on socketsk and cntrl)

any suggestion (expecially for production servers, like web or mail)?
could theese settings create issues (eg. memory leaks, system become unstable, running out of some system resource etc..)
