Yes, it's easy.  You need to review the bitwiseworks wiki pages.  The
(obvious to me) search for

  pentium4 i686 rpm yum site:netlabs.org

will get you lots of useful hits.  Start with

  https://trac.netlabs.org/rpm/wiki/RpmHowToEndUsers

The management overview is that bitwise only provides new pentium4 builds
these days.  Arca Noae mirrors these builds.  Arca Noae provides a number
of i686 builds on an as needed basis.

You are doing as well as can be expected since you have chosen to install
the DLLs one by one, by hand.  Eventually you will figure out which DLLs
are missing are still out of date and get them all installed and we will
find out if there is anything else you have overlooked.
