Hi Massimo,

could that be improved?

The stock answer is anything can be improved.  Of course, this requires a
developer willing to implement the improvements and the they usual reason
why this may or may not happen apply.

i hope that it will be improved
an antivirus is very important for a mail server nowadays

I don't seem to have a copy of your clamscan command line.

clamscan --database=X:\usr\local\clamav\share\clamav --tempdir=Y:\temp
--scan-archive=no --exclude=MSGLIST.DAT  --exclude=DOMAIN.*
--move=X:\quarantine -lZ:\clamav_day.log X:\weasel\MailRoot\mydomain.com

there are about 25 mail domains and more than 350 subdirectories.. with
the small ones with just one or two emails i'm already doing this

Based on the above, I think you are providing an incomplete answer to my
question.  You say you have 350 subdirectories but only list one  clanscan
command.  Is this example of the command you use and you run this 350
times changing the directory name each time?

Steven

i run this command for each domain
and i also run it "divided" on some single recipient directories for the small ones
eg.
X:\weasel\MailRoot\mydomain.com\mail1
X:\weasel\MailRoot\mydomain.com\mail2
etc..

the command is always the same, it only change the path

Y: and Z: are both ramdisk filesystems
but also i believe this is not important
