an antivirus is very important for a mail server nowadays

The thing is,  the memory use of clamav isn't a problem on other platforms, which have been 64-bit for some time. Given the number of clamav users on OS/2 (afaik you are the only one), I wouldn't be holding my breath for a resolution.
