That was w/ rc4 and is 'resolved'. So I have an email sitting in Chuck's box asking about that incident. It appears that I have a problem that will ultimately need a ticket. I just don't want to create one until I'm sure I didn't make a boo-boo. Also, I am now using xwp instead of eCenter. I'll have to back out of that to see if it might be a problem. And I'm off now to restore resource.sys to the rc5 file, I think it is newer than the one in the acpi???.zip file. So don't beat your brains out on this, I was looking for something obvious (and you did get me to find that I had confused the spelling on the switch. Jeez, what a gotcha that is! A line like psd=acpi.psd /apic should simply not be permitted to exist (I even typed it wrong here the first time!). Jon
