Welcome to the fun... You need to set your output levels for the T61 using unimix. Search the archives of this list (see links at the bottom of each post), and you'll find what Chuck & I posted concerning what was working for us. I don't have my wife's machine in front of me right now, so I can't give you specifics. Essentially, I set the levels in startup.cmd. Your audio is most likely initialized but producing a volume level of 0 for each channel. You just need to tweak this up. As for the trap in FAT32.IFS, I don't recall seeing it. I know that I have FAT32 enabled on the machine, as I shuttle data back and forth using a 4GB SanDisk Cruzer, formatted for FAT32.
