I don't think the 'Power Off' is implemented in the T6x.  Also, APM and
ACPI are not contraindicated.  Both are used for all the functions.  If
you did not have APM before, maybe that was your problem.  But, be sure
you are using APM.ADD.  The old APM is not supported with ACPI.
