On my T61 this app doesn't work. This is consistent with JvW's comment about eCS 2.x acpi drivers
in the readme.
I do get output from the test file.
Pressing the mute/increase/decrease buttons return the following to the cmdline: d, c, b. The
ThinkVantage button pops up the app dialog.
I'm wondering if changes to the acpiD.cfg file would impact how this works. I'm using a sleepstate
of S1 because I don't know enough to feel comfortable changing it.
