On a T61 the package of Jan van Wijk doesn't work.
Acpid.cfg I changed some things:
Lid Suspend, don't expect something from it, it doesn't work at the momen=
t.
Powerbutton=3Doff
Sleepstate=3DS3 
Idlestate=3DC2
Maxthrl=3D0
extrakernelhlt=3Dyes
htltime=3D700

I use the test kernel from betazon (works verygood, have no problem with =
it)
With these settings I get around 3-3:30 hours on battery (using standard =
battery)
