Paul's latest HDA build works fine here on my T61, but I have to run a script (I think Lewis or Chuck gave to me) to initiate sound.

But no problem with running Unimix here so not sure if that will help you.

Can you please send me a uniinfo log from this machine prior to running unimix, and also one from after? Preferably with the debug build of uniaud 1.9.12?
