I still prefer my T42p because of a few things. eCS 2.0 RC6a installed fine on to the T61. And as you stated Sound works with Paul's HDA Uniaud 1.9.12 driver (though you have to close anything that uses sound before starting something else that requires sound or I get a message that the device is locked). I only use WiFi which works great with GenMac. With ACPI I get dual CPU support and power off but battery power usage is poor (only an hour unless you use the hacked kernel from ecomstation.ru which has extra halts in it, while I get about 3.5-4 hours on my T42p). And though it will suspend it will not resume. Video works with either SNAP or Panorama in VESA mode, but is adequate. The audio buttons do not work (which they do on the T42p), so you have to control volume using software volume control. Mark
