Did you try the CPUspeed utility? http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/download/pub/os2/util/system/cpuspeed1.4.zip With it I can throttle down both cores of my R60, so it runs a lot longer on the battery. I even use it when my laptop is conected to the wire, so it runs a lot cooler. Frank
