Turned out my problem was with the battery itself. I replaced it with a new 9 cell battery and now getting about 2.5 - 3 hours of time. I have tried CPUSpeed before and tried it again. The problem is the system starts to get unusable from time to time. Probably just not using the correct settings. What parameters are you using with your R60? Mark
