I've had too many failures, freezes, et al..  Even with the above,
which caused playing a single tone to repeat indefinitely.  [Specific: 
The PMMail altert tone when you try to delete a message.]  I've gone
back to:
The prior drivers were:
>  4-18-08 10:20p        72,912      0 a---  uniaud16.sys
>  4-01-08  6:56a       574,658     54 a---  uniaud32.sys 
At least these do not clip other sounds when they are played.
