Chuck/Lewis,

Updated WinXP drivers from Lenovo...
-rwxrwxrwa 1 0 0 246585 Apr 3 08:43 e1e5132.inf.new*
-rwxrwxrwa 1 0 0 252048 Apr 3 08:43 e1e5132.sys.new*
This is interesting. Mine shows:
4-02-08 7:36a <DIR> 0 a--- .
4-15-08 10:12p <DIR> 0 a--- ..
10-13-07 6:05a 1,143 0 a--- e1e5132.inf
10-13-07 6:05a 181,760 0 a--- e1e5132.sys
4 file(s) 182,903 bytes used
Not that interesting... Downloaded the latest Winblows drivers from the Lenovo site... unpacked and tried using the SYS/INF instead of the genmac supplied drivers. They worked sort-of... i.e. the driver loaded successfully but when CNTRL tried to bind, it hung out there forever... Could you send me your exported registry settings for the 8086_1049
Per the genmac docs:
perform a registry export as follows:
In the Windows Registry, below the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class search for a part of the driver name (e.g."PRO/1000"). You will find keys and entries like these:
ComponentId,"pci\\ven_8086&dev_109a&..."
ProviderName,"Intel"
DriverDate,"4-20-2006"
DriverVersion,"9.2.50.0"
...
Thanks,
Is there something that prevents you from just installing from \cid\server\ecspkg\genmac2.wpi on the eCS 2.0 RC4 CD?
