I am still having trouble with the lan connection.
On first boot, before configuring the wireless, it did sort of half
work - that is to say firefox tried to reload the last pages I looked
at under RC6a and was able to show me some sites (e.g. ubuntu
how-to's) but not others (e.g. gmail).
But since getting the wireless configured and working, I cannot even
ping the router if the wireless is disconnected.
PROTOCOL.INI looks good. TCP addresses are static for lan and dhcp for
wireless. There are no error messages., and lantran.log says both
interfaces are up, as does netstat. And WRND32.LOG shows that both
drivers were loaded.
When I double-click on the widget, the wireless connection is
disabled, but I don't get the 'address conflict resolution' window
that used to show in RC6A
Any ideas ?
