But I never see any thing in my email from this list.:-) My fault for not telling you. I did a mass sweep for subscription requests which had gone unanswered (you should have received a subscription confirmation in your email and replied to it; it probably got stuck in a spam trap somewhere). I approved your subscription, but probably forgot to turn on the option to send you the standard welcome text, so you never got your final notification.
I purchased a T400.Mazel tov.
Used VGA to get it installed and then put on Snap (ATI video). Works fine.Excellent.
Now I need to solve the networking connection now. Its a wireless Intel 5300 chipset. I am hoping to find/post something. It also has a wired 82567 gigabit intel connection.The Intel 5300 is not (yet) supported. That's the next generation of chips after the 4965 series. Even in unsupported mode, I have been unable to get them to wake up and respond.
Drivers are the problem of course.
Am I missing 'how to login' or should I just see postings to the list?You should just see postings (now). You may always access public archives at http://lists.2rosenthals.com (see message footer).
