I'm using one of the relatively recent RCs - perhaps 5=3F Not sure about ACPI, although battery % seems to be showing OK. Shutdown = produces one of 3 results: - correct action - 4 beeps and then power off - shutdown but then freeze with a blue(=3F) screen before power off - Trap Not a big hassle; using the power off button handles the 2nd and 3rd case= s. Sound works with no hassles. Both wired and wireless are using genmac dr= ivers; they have been solid. I used gparted to shrink the XP partition and then dfsee to create a bunch of ot= her partitions which I've formatted for eCS and Linux; I use FAT32 for data that is universally accessible. USB work= s with drives, mouse, and probably kbd (never tried). Fn-F4 may not work from OS2 but I've set it in XP to use both displays an= d that sticks. -- Julian Thomas: jt@jt-mj.net http://jt-mj.net In the beautiful Genesee Valley of Western New York State! -- -- "They say that if you play a Microsoft CD backwards, it plays Satanic music.
