I'm using one of the relatively recent RCs - perhaps 5?
Not sure about ACPI, although battery % seems to be showing OK. Shutdown produces one of 3 results:
- correct action - 4 beeps and then power off
- shutdown but then freeze with a blue(?) screen before power off
- Trap
Not a big hassle; using the power off button handles the 2nd and 3rd cases.
Sound works with no hassles. Both wired and wireless are using genmac drivers; they have been solid. I used
gparted to shrink the XP partition and then dfsee to create a bunch of other partitions which I've formatted for eCS
and Linux; I use FAT32 for data that is universally accessible. USB works with drives, mouse, and probably kbd
(never tried).
Fn-F4 may not work from OS2 but I've set it in XP to use both displays and that sticks.
