This option controls whether the LCD BIOS is used on laptops. This
option defaults to auto, which means
that the BIOS will be used when the laptop is booted on the LCD
panel, and will not be used when it is

I ordinarily use the LCD screen but occasionally need to use both when doing a presentation. Last week I booted the machine to windows (I needed to show a WMV file) and left it on both screens; however, today it had reverted to LCD only. I had hoped that it would remember....
