I'm using the CPU throttle program from Hobbes (CPUspeed 1.4) to keep
my R60 Thinkpad cool. At the moment the temperature is 46 C, it's in
use for a couple of hours now. I used OpenOffice, Seamonkey and Z! is
playing a radio stream. This works very well with ACPI 3.18. If only my
system wouldn't hang from time to time, sigh.

I tried using CPUspeed with a netbook, but I was not able to throttle
the Atom N280 CPU. The program gives the following message, "This CPU
supports 1 stpes for throttling".

Kind regards,
Frank
