Before hotkeys were filtered out as per my complaint, "C" used to try
and close the currently selected task on the popup, and naturally the
XShutdown dialog was invoked on systems with the XWP "Alt+F4 on Desktop
= XShutdown" option ON. Of course, I first discovered that accidentally
when I hit "C" with the Desktop selected in the popup on such a system.
Who knew it would come in so handy?

If I fix it I probably should add
the corresponding menu item. Thanks

Are you sure? The Desktop context menu has no corresponding "Close"
entry (just like in the system Window List), so "C" was never listed in
the hints for the Desktop with good reason. To show "C" as a working
option shouldn't you detect whether it is ON in XWP first?

Hi Alfred

After thinking about this I don't think it is a good idea to officially
do this. I am probably willing to allow the "C" to work this way as an
undocumented "feature" (easy to change).

Exactly what I was thinking -- it was an accident that it was always there anyway. This would be perfect for me, thank you!

It doesn't seem like anyone else  figured out that this worked this way. Thanks

:))
