On the T43, as you may recall, I use the standalone taskbar. I have Icons only selected, and auto-hide. Under certain conditions, the last tooltip displaying the process name under the mouse pointer remains on screen after the taskbar has hidden itself. I do not recall seeing this at all prior to RC7.
It seems that if I move off the taskbar quickly, tooltips get stuck. Also, if an application window extends to the bottom of the screen, they get stuck (even when I don't move quickly).
The attached is an example of moving off of the Desktop icon (all the way to the left of the bar) quickly, with nothing else running on the desktop.
The tooltip will hang around indefinitely unless I resurface the taskbar and fly over it to produce a different one, then slowly move up to allow the bar to auto-hide (and hope for the best).
