well after going through all this I don't really see any difference from my config to your config I login just fine if my protocols were wrong it would not find the server.              .... one thing that I do is in my startup.cmd file I have this line in there to auto bring up the Novell client so I just type my password in and all my drives are automatically mapped and connect to queues if I had any.

here is my statement

NWTOOLS O:\NETWARE\MAIN.NWS AUTOEXIT

"main.nws" is my file that I have that is used to do all the mapping ..etc..

what I found is if I type  cx at the prompt, and then go into nwadmin for eCS..........sure I get the tree, but as I said NWADMIN is pretty much useless, it only recognizes about a third of the objects, No Novell licensing, or Zenworks, or, or , or , or, you can check rights to the objects it recognizes but that is about it.
