I was merely pointing up one example where Novell has advised using IPX as a preferred protocol over IP. Having attended several of Laura Chappel's sessions, she has talked often about the increased security of running only IPX on the server (and, indeed, under versions of NetWare prior to 5.0 this was much easier to accomplish). Several years ago, the thought of running multiple protocol stacks on one board (though supported by NetWare for quite some time) was thought to be a fool's endeavor.
