We have started running LDAP services after recent upgrades. I have
been looking it it to transfer the automated tasks from my old
dependable Warp 4 system using the IPX client because the
University is planning to phase out IPX in the near future.
I have managed to extract the data I'm looking for but haven't progressed
much beyond proving it can be done.

The University of a Windows dominant site in which I am tolerated using
OS/2 (ECS) getting the University to pay for anything (like citrix) is a
none starter at the moment, not only due to people objecting, but also
because the (human) purchasing system here is so antiquated that It will
only allow purchases from known suppliers who have past through
various checks etc.. & getting this sorted out just isn't worth the effort so
I am limited to what I am prepared (can afford) to buy myself.
