I mentioned the client project to Bob St. John, prior to the release of eCS 1.0, and he was really interested, though by my own admission, I dropped the ball on it. If I could get a handle on how many actual seats could be sold for such client software at $50 or so per license, including pure IP support, NDPS, and some bundled utilities, I might see if I could round up a couple guys to actually hack it. It is my understanding that the 2.12 requester has much of the Client32 codebase (of the time) in it, though portions were still not implemented (i.e., some is still 16-bit).
