Hey, nothing ventured; nothing gained. I tought I read something about the streaming LPR driver (the one included with eCS 1.2 & available for d/l from ecomstation.com & SWC) being IPP compliant... Well, we'll see. IPP travels over TCP port 631, & I've read that it is indeed possible to print to an IPP printer by using ###.###.###.###:631 just as one would otherwise use ipp://myprinter.mydomain.ext. That's another thought to consider...

eCS is not a IPP capable OS, it supports pure IP printing of course.

what streaming LPR driver you referring to? The one off of eCS site does not mention anything about IPP printing  or even capable, and it is the same driver included in eCS 1.2

Well..anyways I give my hat off to ya if you think you can get it to work. Keep me updated.

It's supposed to be standards-compliant with IPP. It doesn't require a client, and even Linux & Mac stations can use it (supposedly). I'm going to give it a shot later this week.
