I want to revisit the problem with my Thinkpad T42 wireless. I have the
Atheros chipset (IBM Mini PCI-II). I have followed the discussion in the
GMANE news groups, and I have installed Genmac 17 and made all the
corrections recommended by the various writers there.

When I boot, The genmac driver is recognized, the Atheros chip set is
recognized, and I then get a Trap 0008.

Has anybody in this group experienced this and have a suggestion for
fixing it?
