Mike Kaply and Peter Weilbacher are "our" mozilla/browser team and they don't have time to fuzz around with the extensions too. So, as the extensions are NOT in any way tested on the eCS platform, they only good advise to be given is to avoid them at any rate. All the more, as I told already, we can't expect the other developper to care about an operating system they even don't know about.
