Hey Mr. if you'd cared to follow this thread then you'd noticed that I had SOCKET.SYS errors long before. They are caused by heavy network traffic BECAUSE THERE IS A FLAW IN THE TCP/IP STACK of OS/2. Those XPIs just put added traffic on the NIC. What is flawed here is your logic that I'm just supposed to live w/o the Internet! I DON'T THINK SO!

recon I'll have to give up on OS/2 after all, as this box is just a joke > now and I need to be online all the time!
Really good logic!
You install firefox extensions and then blame OS/2 for the problem.
I would try to find which extension is causing the problem and get its author to fix the problem.
