Two separate issues: In the first case, you have the drivers still loading in CONFIG.SYS for NetBEUI and for TCPBEUI. If you're not going to be using NetBIOS, then rem them out of CONFIG.SYS. If you are going to use them, then go to your MPTS setup and add the driver for your wired card back, as well as the necessary protocols. Now, the XWLAN issue is different, as it should detect the appropriate interface. What version of XWLAN are you using? The most recent is 2.14, and there was an issue sometime back with cards not being detected. What happens when you go to your \genmac\bin directory and run scan.exe? are you able to get a response from the card listing available networks? > In , on 08/13/06 > at 06:05 PM, "Lewis G Rosenthal" > said: > > > > >> On 08/11/06 05:12 pm, Sandy Shapiro thus wrote : >> >>> In , on 08/10/06 >>> at 06:22 PM, "Rick R." said: >>> >>> >>> >> >> >>>> Then check when crash occurs. >>>> The GenMAC driver(s) must be loaded before >>>> ..\PROTOCOL\NETBIND.EXE. >>>> >>>> >>> The GenMac driver loads normally.
