We have had a lengthy thread here about crashes in sockets occuring severeal times a day.  Make certain you don't have sockets and socketsk.sys loaded
in your config.sys at the same time. The drivers can't exits next to each other. At least official documentation from IBM (Presentation from IBM
India about the TCP/IP) states that you should only install the *k.sys or .sys version (afinet and sockets its meant).
